Supportive teletherapy from the comfort of home.

While we cannot be in direct presence with each other, I have come to trust that I am still able to hold space, connect with, and feel deeply present with my clients.
Services Provided

Couple Therapy

My goal is to deepen the emotional connection between partners and to increase the honest expression of each partner's needs.
Some of the areas we will focus on:
  • Strengthening communication skills
  • Identifying negative interaction patterns
  • Uncovering how each partner's past histories are affecting the current relationship
  • Identifying and exploring the attachment styles of each partner

Individual Therapy

My goal is to help my clients better understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors impact their health and happiness. I strive to create a safe space for all people, regardless of race, faith, gender or sexual identity.
Some common challenges I support:
  • Strained relationships within family, peer groups, and/or romantic partnerships
  • Anxiety, including general anxiety and social anxiety
  • Low self-compassion, self-esteem, and self-image
  • “People-pleasing” and trouble with setting boundaries

Premarital Counseling

I am a certified facilitator of the Prepare-Enrich Program, an empirically-supported program which has been used worldwide to help guide over 4 million couples to gain a deeper understanding of their relational dynamics, strengths, and opportunities for growth.
To start, you and your partner will take a one time online assessment that will evaluate the following:
  • The couple’s alignment on core areas such as communication and conflict resolution, as well as topics customized to your relationship phase and context
  • The impact of family of origin experiences on each partner’s perception of the couple relationship
  • Positive/negative feedback cycles affecting the relationship
  • Which relationship areas to focus on and which to build upon
  • Stress level of each partner
  • Key personality similarities and differences
Some additional areas of discussion could be step parenting, intergenerational concerns, becoming parents, and interfaith couples. Once the assessment is completed by both partners, we will meet to discuss the findings and work our way through gaining more knowledge and a better understanding of each of you as individuals as well as your strengths and growth areas as a couple.

Studies on the effectiveness of the program indicate that couples who complete the program experience increased marital satisfaction, communication, and conflict resolution skills. The process stimulates curiosity and intimacy, while teaching tangible skills that continue to strengthen your relationship.

Please reach out to set up an initial consultation call. During this call I will provide you and your partner with information on the program and it will give us the opportunity to discuss next steps.

The number of sessions needed to complete the program will vary; typically you can expect between 6-10 sessions. The cost of sessions is my standard fee for couples' sessions which will be discussed and agreed upon during our consultation call. The only additional cost will be $35 per couple for the initial assessment.

Prepare-Enrich also has a program for families/parents and a check-up version for couples wanting to check in on how their relationship may have changed over the years. Find out more on their website: Prepare-Enrich.com
